The Orange County Regional History Center presented “WORJ: Town Hall for the Counterculture,” on August 20, 2015. A panel discussion featuring radio personalities Lee Arnold, Doug Van Allen, Neal Mirsky, Steve Mack, Randy Molnar and Hanna East West, who made history with Orlando’s FM 107 WORJ. The program accompanied the reopening of the exhibit Long Way to the Top: Hard Rock in Orlando, 1972-1985. Between 1972 and 1975, radio station FM 107 WORJ made local and national history by pioneering the then-new broadcast format known as Progressive Rock Radio.
