WHFL History
WHFL began as WINT-FM.
In 1970 Randy
Jeffery was brought in as General Manager. Randy brought a new image to WHFL
with new calls letters - WHFL - which stood for Winter Haven
Florida as an automated Beautiful Music format replaced by an
automated Country format. Randy moved the offices and studios to the Florida
Citrus Showcase in Cypress Gardens.
