WCFB-FM 94.5's JoJo O’Neal has been inducted into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame. The induction recognizes decades of dedication to broadcasting, community impact, and contributions to the culture of Black radio. Other broadcasters include Elroy Smith, Lorenzo “Ice Tea” Thomas, and Marc Young.  Midday personality JoJo O’Neal has devoted her life to education and advocacy. Following her own asthma diagnosis in 2004, she founded the Let’s Kick Asthma Foundation, a non-profit that educates, inspires, and supports those living with the disease.

Receiver Appointed For WSBB      9-16-25 
Ammie Ransom-Olson has been named as court-appointed receiver for WSBB-AM 1230 and has taken control of the station. Skip Diegel passed away in January 2024, and the station is now being managed by Ammie.

SOLD: WEAG-FM       9-2-25
Florida Broadcast Media Group Inc., headed by David Krieger has purchased WEAG-FM 106.3 from Dickerson Broadcasting for $350,000.
