Buckethead  (Jason Bailey)  Biography

Jason was born June 7, 1975, in Severna Park, MD, then moved to Florida in 1986.  He went to high school in Sarasota. He played football and after graduation went to play football in Wingate, NC for 2 years. He came to Orlando and went to school at UCF. Jason's radio career began in 1995 when he became an intern on the "Doc and Johnny Morning Show" at WXXL-FM 106.7. From 2000 until 2008 he moved to WJRR-FM 101.1 when he moved to WKIS-FM 104.1 where he began at night then moved to mid-days until he left in 2013.

WOFL-TV 35 is reporting that WTKS-FM 104.1's Buckethead (Jason Bailey) helped save the life of a suicidal man. The anonymous caller told Buckethead he wasn’t sure if he wanted to kill himself and didn’t know what to do. The caller dubbed "Bill" was taken to an area hospital and is doing fine. Here is the audio of that call.
