Mike Murillo
Mike is a true Florida cracker, born in raised on the Space Coast. At the age of fifteen -seeking a job that didn't involve collecting carts or saying "do you want fries with that"- Mike pursued an after school job at WMEL in Melbourne. Less then a year later, He found himself wearing many different hats at the station, both on and off the air. One hat was anchoring and reporting the news during afternoon drive.

Well after high school, He left the coast to begin working toward a broadcasting major and a music minor at the University of Central Florida. Finally during the four hurricane summer of 2004, looking to get involved in the radio scene here in Orlando, he applied for a producer position here at WDBO, and the rest is history. Now Mike anchors news overnights on WDBO.

Away from the newsroom you can probably find him playing double bass in a jazz group or an orchestra somewhere in Central Florida.
