Rozzie Franco is the newest member of the WDBO-AM 580 news teamRozzie, a self described "army brat"
traveled abroad before returning to Florida. She attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach and then headed to South Florida. While in the southern part of the state, Rozzie graduated from Florida International University in Miami with a B.A. in English literature. After graduation, Rozzie tended bar in some of the most popular nightclubs in Miami's South Beach club scene.
After years of the night-time schedules, she decided to retire from the entertainment industry. After being recruited as a pharmaceutical sales rep, Roz led her sales team to become the top selling representative in the company. Rozzie returned to Daytona Beach to be with family. She went looking for a job in sales and landed a job in radio news at WNDB-AM 1150 in 2006. She discovered her niche as a field reporter and so embarked on a new career. In 2007 Rozzie joined WDBO-AM in Orlando as a weekend/fill in news reader and in less than three months, became part of the morning news team and was hired as a full time reporter/producer.
In May, 2008, Rozzie moved to WFLF-AM 540 as their full-time News anchor during the Dan Sileo, Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh programs.
