Congratulations To Pavlina Osta!     12-19-14

Pavlina Osta has returned the world record for “most interviews” to the United States. She interviewed 347 people in 24 hours to claim the Guinness World Record title. Pavlina set the new record at the Port Orange Wal-Mart. Each interview consisted of a minimum of five unique questions. The feat was performed over a 24-hour period on Nov 22 & 23 and it was broadcast live on Ustream.tv and via Live365. Pavlina donated one can of pet food to Sophie’s Circle for each interview she conducted. The previous record holder, Claudio Siepi of Italy, interviewed 256 people and held the record since 2012.

Logas In For Bud     12-21-14

Pavlina Osta, who appeared on the Central Florida Radio website, will be on at 8:22 a.m. to share what it is like to have brought the Guinness Book of World Records back to the United States from Italy for the most consecutive interviews in a 24 hour period. I'll join Mark for a few minutes on Monday as well. On Tuesday's show Mark talks to the children of three pioneers of the community, that we lost this year, to reflect on the character of these men and comment on their contributions to the different aspects of our way of life, something none would do because they were much too humble. Ben Aycrigg-journalism/ethical reporting, Jack Matsche-home builder from the 1950's with such high standards that are still standing today, John Land- navigated the growth of Apopka with dignity and respect (Representative Bryan Nelson will join Mark for this segment). Mark will be paying tribute to our Veterans using actual radio clips from Christmas 70 years ago, during WWII, and interviewing current day Veterans about serving our county overseas at Christmas.
