WSBH-FM 98.5 debuted on November 28, 2006. The 6,000-watt station began "stunting" with 24 hours of Christmas music, which would continue until the new format was launched on Christmas day 2006. WSBH-FM 98.5 is the sister station WHLG-FM 101.3 "The Coast". The signal would cover the area from Titusville to Indian River County. In January of 2006, WHLG, which is owned by Riverside Bank president Vernon D. Smith, participated in an auction conducted by the FCC, which put four new station licenses up for bid.
