History
of Rumba 100.3
On February 2, 2005 at
12 noon,
Clear Channel Communications "flipped" WEBG-FM
"Big 100" to Orlando's first and only full-market Spanish
language station. To celebrate the launch, "Rumba 100.3" began
airing 5,000 songs in a row. The plan is part of Clear Channel Radio's
Spanish-language programming initiative announced in September 2004.
