Russ Ross  "Uncle Russie"  Biography

Russ began his career 30 years ago in Newark, NY.,  30 miles outside of his hometown of Rochester.  Coming to Florida in 1977, Uncle Russie found a home for his personality driven show on WHHL-AM 1190.  Russ has worked at WTRR-AM 1400 and in the late 1980's moved to WMJK-AM 1220 in Kissimmee, where "The Doo Wop Shoppe" began, then Russ and the show moved to WGTO-AM 540. Russ is now one of the voices you hear all over central Florida as a reporter for Clear Channel Communications doing traffic for many of the area stations.
